Richard "Rick" Boden is a seasoned executive with over thirty years of financial, operational and consulting experience, Mr. Boden has worked as an advisor and consultant to emerging businesses, as well as serving as the interim CFO for a number of high-tech, communications, manufacturing, retail and services, media & entertainment, government contractor, healthcare and biotech companies.
Rick Boden has a long and successful career of advising companies on corporate, financial, operational and organizational strategies, business processes and procedures, and funding strategies via venture capital, investment banks and financial institutions. He has worked with, Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Integrated Concepts & Resources (ICRC), Dovel Technologies, Nature's Baby Organics, Irvine Contemporary Gallery, Coverstories LLC, Alex Pallet, LLC, Doyon Government Services, Inc., Communication Works, Safe Care Systems, Kforce, Inc., I-TRAX, Inc., Hagler-Bailly, Inc., Sungei Way Holdings, Bhd., Virginia Railway Express, OCR, Inc., Sullivan and Company, Sylvest Management, General Physics Corp., Inc., Herner and Company, DynCorp IE & T Group.
Rick Boden is also an Executive Producer of the Documentary Film "Emmanuel Jal: War Child" a moving film about a surviving child soldier of the Sudan, now an international hip-hop star sending his message of hope and fighting his battle for his people of the Sudan through his music and his charitable organization Gua Africa.
Rick Boden also sits on the Advisory Board for the Harry F. Byrd School of Entrepreneurship Shenandoah University and is a member of the Governor of Virginia's task force for service exports.
Rick Boden is a member of the Contemporaries Steering Committee for the Corcoran Gallery of Art and also is the President and Director of GUA Africa US, a charitable organization which supports the health, welfare and education of the lost boys and girls of Sub-Saharan Africa, most specifically in the Southern Sudan and Kenya regions.
Rick Boden's first book of poetry has been published in 2008 and is titled "Have I Gone: Observation's in Poetic Verse. A book of poetry focused on observations that discuss the mind, creativity, reality and transformations.
